Master Degrees Funded By The European Union
For those of you who are in their final year of their Bachelors degree or are already graduated and who wish to study their masters in Europe, while being given a monthly scholarship that covers all living expenses. The European Commission (part of the European Union) offers a number of master degrees in different disciplines such as Economics, Business, Journalism, Human Rights and Engineering.
If you get accepted for one of these master programs, you get to study at 3 different universities in 3 different countries. For example, if you choose the TRIBOS masters (suitable for Mechanical Engineers) you will study the first semester in Leeds University (UK), the second semester in Ljubljana University (Slovenia) and the third semester in Lulea University (Sweden), the fourth semester will be an internship to get work experience. The universities and countries you will study in will differ between each master program.
If you wish to study without a scholarship, every program has its own tuition fee, and you will also have to pay your own travel and living expenses. However, if you see yourself as a high achieving student, you can be strongly considered for a scholarship paid by the European Commission. The scholarship usually covers all travel, living expenses, health insurance and accommodation. For some programs there is a high probability that it also covers all tuition fees (this also differs from one program to another).
If you are an Egyptian who has been living in Egypt for the past 5 years, you will be considered for a Partner Country Scholarship, however if you have been living in any of the EU countries for more than 12 months in the past 5 years you will be considered for a Programme Country Scholarship.

NB. The deadlines for applying to the scholarship and applying to the masters program as a self-funded student, as well as the amount of fees and scholarships differ between every master program. Therefore, it is important to check the list of master programs available and read more about the master program which matches your interest.
Best of luck!
