The importance of learning (or teaching your children) German or French

I want to discuss a very important matter in this post, one that I wanted to talk about for long. In this post, I want to explain why it can be extremely beneficial and cost effective to learn or to teach your children the German and French languages.

After staying in Europe for a while and reading up more about the education system in each country I realized something. I realized that had I learned the German or French language in an early age I could have studied in Germany, Austria or France for very little tuition fees. Yes, German, Austrian and French universities are virtually free (costing a maximum of 700/year). The problem in such countries would only be the cost of living which can amount up to 9,000/year. However, more than 80% of students who study in these countries work part-time jobs while studying to cover their living expenses. I want to note that only Bachelor degrees in these countries are studied mostly in German and French languages. Master and PhD degrees are however, mostly studied in English

Apart from studying, learning one of these two languages can give any person with any degree the chance to practice his job in any of the countries which speak them. This can be done through internships, training programs, or through getting an actual job. This needs a lot of perseverance while applying online or in person, but having a language certificate in your hand can always increase your chances. German language can prove to be very beneficial particularly for engineers.

In the end, I would like to say that Allah guides each of us to what is best for him. The blessing of getting any university degree is something huge, and one can always make great things out of any degree. I hope that I have guided you to something that might be beneficial to you, your children and loved ones.
